Habitat's Repairs & Ramps Program is accepting applications.
Habitat helps disabled individuals and older adults live and age at home and in communities of their choice. We evaluate individual needs and provide minor home repairs and mobility ramps to preserve their homes and their independence.
Habitat for Humanity in Fulton County, Ohio does minor home repairs only, including but not limited to:
- furnaces, air conditioning, hot water tanks
- entryway safety hazards such as unsafe decking, railings and thresholds
- weatherization such as window and door sealing
- mobility ramps
- installation of safety needs such as bath handrails
This program does not cover:
- septic systems and wells
- mold and/or radon issues
- roofing
- foundation repair/leveling
- floor leveling
- full bathroom remodeling
- major electrical issues
- cosmetic-only projects
- rehab
- water and/or smoke damage
- any repair that the value of the home, including mobile homes, will not support
