Volunteer Workday-112PA, Swanton
Volunteers will be guided through construction of a new home for the Horak family. No skill required-come with a desire to learn from a Pro who will guide you. Activities depend on what phase of construction is happening but could involve everything from raising walls to installing siding, painting or installing flooring. Parking available ONLY at Swanton Village office building: 217 Chestnut street on the west side gravel parking area. From there, it is a short walk south through Weigel Funeral Home parking lot (please don't park there!) to St. Clair Street and then 112PA Avenue. Lunch provided for all volunteers. Registration required.
